Planet Zoo 2 system requirements
Updated 2026-10-04
On this page
Frontier has not published official system requirements for Planet Zoo 2 yet (as of 2026-10-04). The Steam store page lists no minimum or recommended specs. This page tracks the official specs and will be updated the moment they appear.
What we know officially
- Platform: Windows only (no Mac or Linux listed on the Steam page)
- Full controller support, including DualShock
- Accessibility options: adjustable text size, color alternatives, camera comfort
What Planet Zoo 1 suggests (unofficial, for orientation only)
Planet Zoo 1 (2019) asked for a GTX 770 / i5-2500 minimum and a GTX 1070 / i7-4770k recommended — but the sequel is seven years newer with fully aquatic environments, flying species, and larger wildlife reserves, so expect meaningfully higher requirements. Management sims are typically CPU-heavy: many guests, many animals, lots of simulation.
Planning advice: if your PC runs recent Frontier titles (e.g. Planet Coaster 2) comfortably, you are likely fine. Do not upgrade hardware based on guesses — wait for the official specs, which we will publish here with the source link the moment Frontier posts them.
